HHFTS Interview

HHFTS: If Deepspace 5 ever had an encounter with the cast
of Deepspace 9, how would you explain the BLATANT
biting of their crew name? and would you fear any
sort of alien retaliation? (2 tier question..still
counts as one....live with it)

SINTAX.THE.TERRIFIC: I'd poke that corny Reading Rainbow cat in his
lazer
uni-eye and then pants that fake-nuka, Starfleet,
Shatner-wannabe commander. I fear no man extra-or intra-terrestrial.  Let'em bring the pain.

HHFTS: What projects are you working on as of 11/03?

SINTAX.THE.TERRIFIC:
My own life and my family.
My sophomore jam - "curb appeal"
Some top secret ds5 moves.
A hot illtrip guest spot.
Some Hybornian Warrior craziness with Man of War.
About sixteen other guest appearances with up and
coming heads trying to make a name in this here game.

HHFTS: The term "thunder smooth" should be applied to what rap artist, and why?

SINTAX.THE.TERRIFIC: Cappadona.  Duh.

HHFTS: What was the single most bizarre "on the road"
incident you have seen, or heard rumors about?

SINTAX.THE.TERRIFIC: MG watched a movie buck-naked with Dust for like an hour and a half, squating in the hotel room.  Dust just kept making beats.

HHFTS: Name 5 non rap, non raggae, non techno albums in
your current CD rotation

SINTAX.THE.TERRIFIC:
- Derek Webb
- Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song
- Andrew Peterson - Love and Thunder
- J. Timberlake - Justified
- Tunnel Rats - Tunnel Vision

HHFTS: Tell us about your family life...the ins and
outs..the loveys and the doveys.

SINTAX.THE.TERRIFIC: I've been married to the same wonderful lady, Susan, for six years.   She hates raps and most rappers.  She particuarly loathes Labklik music.  I have a beautiful new son.  Jackson Davis.  He's four and half months old.  He's mostly into Schooly D and the Molemen (of
the Chicago variety).

HHFTS: What is the LEAST favorite song on your record
and why? (don't say because it's old, or i'll mail
you something brown)

SINTAX.THE.TERRIFIC: Probably "along the bus line."  I don't even know what I'm talking about exactly.  My cadence is all jacked up.  Sev's dope, I just dropped the ball.  Plus it's
old.

HHFTS: If summer jams are meant to be upbeat and dance
ready, what would be YOUR winter hit?

SINTAX.THE.TERRIFIC:
That has to be "sensational" or "firefly syndrome." Both songs are desparate and mournful.  "Firefly
syndrome" concerns the winters of my faith, while
sensational depicts both the joy and tragedy of an
encounter with the incarnate God.

HHFTS:
If some Susans are Staceys, and some Staceys are
Sharons, is it safe to say the Deepspace 5 is gonna do big things soon with their next record?

SINTAX.THE.TERRIFIC: Accounting for population growth, I feel confident that the same number of people who did not hear the last record, will not hear this next one.

HHFTS: Where can we get your records, and how much are
them mammer jammers?

SINTAX.THE.TERRIFIC:
www.Sphereofhiphop.com, www.Hiphopinfinity.com, and Me.  They will run ya somewhere between 10 and 13 bones.  24 tracks deep.  I hope you're blessed.  Thank you all for supporting eepspace
music.
